This is a great set for the beginner / novice lifter. They have a 52 lbs max so if you need more, look for something else. If that weight sounds good, go for it. I love the weights. They are high quality and give a large selection of weights in a small package. They are a bit bulky for certain moves but I am willing to live with that drawback given the benefits.

I bought these for my son for Christmas. I researched a lot of products that appear to have the same features, however they are really just knockoffs of this technology. Bowflex invented this system and they really are the best, even if they are more expensive.

This set is absolutely perfect for my need and is the best set I have ever owned. The range, from 5 to 52.5 pounds of perfect and I especially like the 2.5 pound increment change which goes up for the first 25 pounds.
