I also thought it didnt fit when it first arrived, but once you force/push it in the transparent plastic holder the first time, it fits and holds tight as it is supposed to do.

My Boxwave case does not even come close to fitting my Nokia N810. The packing slip included with shipping box clearly says for "Nokia N810" but not a chance of the device fitting inside the case.

These cases must not all but cut and trimmed equally (or I got one mislabeled as n810 instead of n800 or 770); The case I got was not wide enough to fit the device.
