I bought this to replace an older Roadtrip fm transmiter. The old one was not compatible with the 6th generation classic ipod. This roadtrip sounds a lot better and even chooses the 3 best channels. This is my second RoadTrip. The first one I had was one for a 2nd generation nano. I loved it and never had any trouble with it, except that I had to take the cover off of my nano or it wouldn't fit into the RoadTrip. This particular one has improved in that sense.
