I bought this camera from Amazon about a month ago to replace a 4 yr old Kodak. I went with this camera for the great reviews on multiple sites and because of the Canon brand. I am a "point and shoot" type of photographer and just need the basics. This is a great camera at a great price.

I find picture quality in Auto Mode very disappointing. I am sure there is a way to improve it through one of hundreds of adjustable settings but if you are casual photographer like me this camera may not be the best option.
Specially inside, when using flash, picture comes out washed-out and very dark. Outside ... Read More
