Drive arrived in fairly good packaging. It seems to be quicker and quieter than the Hitachi 160GB which it replaced in my laptop. No complaints after using it for two weeks!

I've only been using my drive for a week so I can't comment on longevity, but this is the loudest laptop hard drive I have used in years.
