I can't comment on how well this product will stand the test of time, but my initial reaction is extremely positive. Sound quality is incredible for such a tiny, inexpensive unit! Don' let the product's rugged look fool you. The internal components are of suspect quality and can and will be broken with the slightest bit of dropping/banging. The unit does provide loud and clear sound.

I purchased the Sound Lab for a teenagers birthday present. She was overjoyed with the performace. The volume and clarity is great. Had the table top vibrating like crazy. The case appears to be very durable. Easy to use. A must for the active i-pod teenager. Or just anyone who is active.
