I couldn't be more pleased with this item. It raises my Macbook Pro up so that my screen is eye level, and also keeps my battery cool. Add in its very attractive design and you have a winner.

I like it because I get a little desk space back, my neck likes it because I'm not looking down, and my computer likes it because it doesn't get hot as easily. I really love the Griffin Elevator. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. It lifts my 15 inch Apple MBP well off the desk. I have had it for about 3-4 weeks and I am really loving it!!

The stand is sleek and convenient, but I have had the laptop slide off a few times (I use a 17" MacBook Pro). The key is to position the laptop on the stand with about an inch of the grippy pad on the top sticking out, so the weight is distributed onto the back of the stand more evenly.
