This printer replaced my previous Epson Stylus Photo model that wore out after years of service. It's satisfactory in every way, except that it frequently doesn't recognize standard Avery label stock as paper. I bought the Epson 1400, quirky but works fine. However, as a package deal, Amazon.com couples the wrong ink with this printer under "FREQUENTLY BOUGHT TOGETHER." #78 Ink cartridges DO NOT FIT into this printer.
