I purchased this with my Garmin nuvii 260w and found it works very well on my dashboard in my Honda Odyssey. It is very stable and you are able to adjust in most any position for easy viewing. Find it to be easier to use than the window mount. I can position it exactly where I want it so I don't have to take my eyes off the road. It works well with the Garmin.

I purchased this with my Garmin Nuvi GPS as I didn't want to use a suction cup mount on my windshield. Even if you don't leave the suction cup mount permanently attached, they still leave a mark on the windshield, alerting potential thief's that a GPS unit is in the car.
