I've only had it for a couple of months and haven't had any issues. It was easy to set up and takes up much less space on my desk. The sound is not very good at all, so if you watch a lot of videos or play a lot of music, you'll want to use other speakers.

I was a little disappointed when my son's 2 year and 2 month old LCD started flashing on and off. I mean, CRTs lasted for decades.
