I bought a 17 inch Samsung LCD monitor because my Samsung picture tube monitor looks great. I was in for a shock, though. The picture on the LCD was so horrible, it was basically unusable. I've owned this monitor for almost two years and never thought to do a review of it. What brought doing a review to mind was that the monitor developed a problem. In fact, the problem is very similar to what another reviewer encountered, which led to him giving the unit a low rating.

Monitor did what I expected. Worked flawlessly. Setup was straightforward and easy to do.
Rating: - Problems after 6 months.
After 6 months of using the monitor it started to develop problems. The adjustment buttons on the front of the monitor are randomly going off. It is still under warranty, but the closest repair center is 400 miles away and I have to pay for the shipping both ways! It still works, but the buttons going off by themselves are ... Read More
