    3Com's SuperStack II Switch 610/630 family provides flexible Ethernet and Fast Ethernet switched connectivity for workgroups and individual users.The SuperStack II Switch 610 supports 24 10Mbps ports and 2 10/100 ports; duplex and speed are automatically negotiated on all ports. The Switch 610 has support for 6,000 MAC addresses. The SuperStack II Switch 630 supports 10/100 Mbps auto-negotiation on all 24 ports. The Switch 630 has support for 12,000 MAC addresses. Both switches are compatible with all existing 3Com switching products. The SuperStack II Switch 610/630 family ensures zero packet loss under heavy load due to its Elastic Port Buffering scheme plus Intelligent Flow Management and 802.3x flow control algorithms. This level of functionality is becoming increasingly important due to modern network architectures and operating systems. Both products feature an exceptional level of functionality including; full SNMP and web-based management with RMON for proactive network management; integration into 3Com's Transcend Network Management; resilient links and spanning tree to protect against cable and equipment failures; PACE technology for enhanced real-time multimedia support and data throughput.
