I have had othger modems that fill up your running prigrams with awkward unnecesary files
This oon eis simple and works and no fancy programs

I bought this modem so that I could be alerted when I got a phone call. The software doesn't stay on my computer for more than a few minutes, then it disappears. This dialup pci card installed easily & has not given me any trouble. it was economically priced & that was what I was looking for.

The modem never worked but was too cheap to return. It installed okay but would never actually dial out. I found another modem in an old PC in the garage and it worked just fine.
