Online ordered this PCI-card adaptor to add four USB2 ports to an old Dell Dimension c700 desktop running XP. Desktop only had original USB1x. One issue that has plagued add-in USB cards for the Macintosh for years is problems with power saving. Either the computer will not sleep, will crash on waking or sleeping, or it will lose contact with the card and attached devices.
