I was a little skeptic because I knew I was purchasing a used product, but when I received it, and plug it to my Dell 9 Mini to download software with a CD it worked great. I was very impressed.

I can't realy review this drive. The one i got did not work with the Note Book I bought. Tried it on my other laptop and got an error message that dive was defective(maybe damaged in shipment). Got in touch with Targus and they were going to repair it, but I had already contacted Amazon about retuning it.

After downloading Windows SP3, my dvd-rom drive no longer worked. I spent hours online with an "expert" from Microsoft trying to fix the problem.
