    This one looks good. A battery I bought from another vendor only lasted a couple of months. This one is doing ok.

    I have a Compaq Presario 2100 and this battery is NOT the right one, and the seller (smart parts usa, which leaves nasty comments about buyers who leave them less than glowing reviews) has been completely unresponsive. Don't make the same mistake I did--who knows WHAT computers this battery works with!

    when it was installed fot the first time

    The battery fits and works as good or better than the original. It seems to have a higher capacity than the original. It was shipped the same day I ordered it and arrived in 2 days. Amazing service!
