Installed this modem on Monday and it didn't work. Error msg says, "Hardware does not support modem". I tried every troubleshooting suggestions. Still didn't work. Great Modem--Had no trouble installing at all. Works perfectly in XP--It even shows incoming calls. It is a must buy! I don't understand why others find it difficult~
Rating: - Avoid this modem
I recently spent days attempting to install this modem. I was installing it on a new computer and even went to the trouble of re-formatting my computer and installing Windows XP again. Even on a barebones Windows XP install, with no extra, possibly conflicting software, I could not get this modem to work.
