Rating: - This case is misrepresented and useless.
I bought this with the hopes that I could put the charger, roll up silicone keyboard I had bought with it and its tiny tiny mouse in the front pocket, and take my computer to work, wrong!
This cheaply made korean bag arrived in a plastic envelope, and the pocket was so small that NOTHING would fit in it, maybe if you have a CD you feel needs to be in separate part of the bag, then your in luck.
I luckily had bought a kroo sleave Kroo 10959 Reversible Laptop Sleeve for Asus Eee PC 700/701/900 (Grey/Pink) for my eee pc, and it fits perfectly and is water resistant and much cheaper, the only difference between this and the kroo sleeve is the handle. Is the handle worth $10 really? not even a nice handle, not even like a shoulder strap, a little cheap handle that you have to hang on to all the time. This thing is useless and bulky, without the USEFULNESS in the bulky, like, storage! So instead, I got my duffle bag, my kroo sleeve, and I put my EEE PC in the kroo sleeve and the mouse, roll up keyboard, and charger in the duffle, and go on my merry way.
When I went to return this, I saw their ridiculous return policy. Restocking fees, you pay for shipping both ways as they dont refund, basically, its almost not worth the effort, but I think all those blocks are in the way so it wont be worth your time. I'm returning it anyway, This thing is totally useless and misadvertized. Dont waste your money, look for something else.
I bought this bag for my Asus EeePC 901 which it is advertized for. My main reason for purchasing this bag was for transporting it to and from work/home. The main feature I wanted was as small a case as I could get to hold the netbook, a mouse and occasionally the power supply. I also wanted something where I could use the netbook without completely removing it from the case
PROS:
This Is quality made. leather-like exterior and very cushy foam interior. there were no loose threads or visible scratches to the product. the zippers are of good quality, all metal zippers heads so no worries about them breaking. The pouch is exactly what I was hoping for. It can easily hold the power supply and a full-sized mouse with a little room left over. The extra fabric cushion where the battery sits is an extra bonus I wasn't expecting.
Cons:
Its not an exact fit for the EeePC 901 that it is advertized for. There is about an inch of extra space to the sides of the netbook. Because of this, the internal support bands don't work very well as they only hold the very tips of the machine when the case is open. The online photos for the product show rings to support a strap which it did not have(in its defense the features never mentions having a strap or rings to support one) so that was a little disappointing.
CONCLUSION:
Overall, it's well built, small, light and works for my needs stated above. I'm happy with purchasing it and would recommend it to others who have similar needs as myself. This product would probably work a little better with another brand of netbook which is wider than the EeePC 901, something like a HP mini.
