Keeps the zen protected from drops...but does not protect the screen...just buy the screen protector. Very nicely keeps the cord out of the way. This does make it a little bigger...but that should be obvious since its keeping the cords behind a flap. Still smaller than most players even with the cords.

I hate this case. It is thick and makes the Zen look cheap. I would rather have a scratched Zen than use this case.
I gave it 2 stars because it holds the earphones, as advertised.
