I was disappointed with this set. The cord for the car broke after a few months. I am a bit rough with my cords, but I think a travel set should be able to take a little bit of jostling in the console of the car. I am using a USB adapter for the cigarette lighter and the original USB cord now, and it works fine.
Rating: - Zune Car Radio Adapter
It works. Sometimes well and other times it sounds like an old radio fading out between stations.
The cord should be longer so that the unit could be hidden in the console without unplugging.
I would order again if I needed another but, I sure wish they would fine tune the technology and make it less combersome.
Rating: - Avoid this at all cost
If it looks too good to be true is usually is. The car charger lasted about a week before it fell apart. I was sent another which lasted almost three weeks and, of course, fell apart again.
The wall adapter (which I only used about two or three times) started to smoke when I charged my zune (seriously, black smoke was coming from the charger). I was able to unplug it but not before it damaged the Zune's USB socket and I now have a dead Zune.
Very shoddy very unsafe product. Avoid at all costs.
