And once the drivers are installed and the camera is running the resolution is not at all impressive.
30 days after you install the drivers a window pops up reminding you to register the product, even if you *did* already register it. Window will not go away and pops up every time you start the computer. Requires disabling some registry entries to make it go away.
You get what you pay for.

This is the best camera in this price range I've used.
It has good resolution and light control. It's truly plug and play.
I did install the creative software because it has some good tools including motion activated alerts for monitoring and face tracking technology.
It also comes with a head set that has the same earphone distributed with the Zen product line. The microphone quality is much better than I expected. It has good noise cancellation control and is very clear.
The video capture and editing works well also.
It worked seamlessly with Skype, MSN and Yahoo for video chats also.

I got this webcam for my 14 year old daughter for Christmas to use on Bebo. She say's it is awesome and she is really having lot's of fun with the special affects. I would highly recommend this product.
Setup took a while but no glitches.
