This is my first one and I had no idea how to use it, but the software is very user friendly and I had no problem to start using it.
Rating: - Holds my entire music catalogue
Excellent product! Well-made, substantial -- extremely easy to use. The 160 GB version holds everything, even in lossless format, with room to grow. I haven't added any movies or podcasts or photos, but there is plenty of room to do so. The software (iTunes) is very easy to use on a Windows PC. The earbuds are functional, but nevertheless are the weak part of the system. Be prepared to spend extra money to upgrade them. The album cover function is very slick. This is a very good traveling companion.

the ipod is defective, doesn't play songs completely through. i am very unhappy. have spent many hours on the phone with apple to try to fix problem, even sent in the product, however they are unable to repair it. i spent way too much money to have a defective piece of equipment.
Rating: - A decent portable media player
It's been awhile since I had an ipod, so i was more than glad to get a new one. It works better than my old mini did, and i love the 80 gig capacity.
