Bought these speakers quite a while ago. The reviews seemed to speak very highly of this product but to say the least what I received was a very poor quality, weak base, and rear speakers that made little to no difference. Only if your ear is right next to the rear speakers can you hear them.
The speakers have a great look, can be mounted on the wall and have adequate cables for placement but I do not buy speakers for looks alone or I would just print out the picture and tape it to my wall to look at.
The wired remote is fine but the cable is a bit short. Being that the sub is underpowered this is not really a problem unless you have to place the sub further away because you don't have the room.
Needless to say I have gone back to my previous Altec Lansing speakers I bought about 6 years ago.
Closing Summary: If you like speakers that look great but offer nothing in terms of sound quality then these speakers are for you.

I replaced a failed Creative Labs system whcih was not cost effective to be repired (no longer supported). The product arrived as promised and performed well with my PC system. I did not need hundreds of watts of 5.1 sound. Base was good.
Rating: - Vast Improvement Over 2.1 Speakers
The setup was easy. These speakers sound excellent with my Creative Extreme Gamer Soundcard. The sound is crisp, clean, and clear. My office is small so the speaker wire length was no problem. These are a great improvement over my old 2.1 speakers and I am glad I purchased them. I just wish I would have went wireless for the rear speakers, but maybe later. I am considering getting a set for my TV.
