I bought this so I could hook up our ipod nano (3rd generation) to our stereo system. It works perfectly. We enjoy our ipod so much more now that we can listen to its music through our stereo.

this product worked exactly as listed I bought it for my iPhone but it didn't mention they it didn't work for the iPhone so I use it In my car and home stereo it's really good audio better than the headphone jack. Remember ipod use only I don't know if it works with the iPod touch
