The design does not seem rugged so gentle use is advised. If you're a careful and deliberate user this is the best value I've seen.

The printing is fast, the blacks are deep, the print quality is high, and the duplex works like a charm. The unit does an enormous amount, for a bargain price.
I use it as a second printer (primary is HP LaserJet 4050) but when there are long documents involved I go straight to it to save paper. HP has better paper handling, esp. for envelopes.
For fax and copying it is fine. I am not a high-volume user, and, though changing the settings is not quite intuitive for my little brain, it gets the job done painlessly. And there are useful doodads, like the print-to-fax option appearing in your printer list automatically.
The onscreen document manager is slow to load and a bit clumsy to work with but not overly so.
Overall, a terrific unit implementing up-to-date technology. And the price point is downright incredible. Highly recommended!

Rating: - Great product for classroom
I use this copier in a highschool classroom. The students use it daily to make copies of their projects to keep in their portfolios. The controls are easy to use and it makes really quick copies. I use it most for copy reductions as well as 2 copies on 1 page. Great product for the price. I have recomended it to my co-workers!

Easy setup, compact size, crisp sharp print out. After long research the best value for a Multi functional Laser from a good brand as Canon
