Rating: - Excellent Printer
This is an excellent printer. I used it few times and it worked very well. Print quality is excellent. It is very easy to setup. I would recommend it.
Rating: - I like the duplex and its low price however I dislike the lack of networking
I got the 4150 from a local store for $199 + tax. I got the scanner,
printer, fax to work /w WinXP machine connect via USB 2.0. However, only
the printer worked with my dlink 1260 wireless printserver. I eventually
returned it after 10 days. I'll wait for model MF4690 to be available
in April 2007, it has all features of 4150 plus networking
Rating: - High Quality Near- Business Class Machine
I ordered this multifunction machine from Amazon after returning a Canon MF5770 that was unsatisfactory (to St*ples)For under two hundred wou get a lot of features in a solidly built machine. Copy works fine. The scanner function is very nice; I was able to scan a document with the sheet feeder and an image immediately popped up on my computer. The bundled scan software actually works; a first for me with multifunction machines. Printing was uneventful as it should be. Large paper capacity. Large toner capacity as expected with lasers. Highly recommended.
Rating: - Does what it claimed very well. nice little workhorse
I have used several all-in-ones before, both inject and laser. from brother to HP, this is the best by far. summarize the pro's and con's:
Pro's
1. duplex printing is a great paper saving tool
2. complete silent at standby with fast start up
3. small foot print and compact
4. paper handling is smooth, rarely any paper jam, quite unusual for a cheap all in one under $200
Con's
1. initial menu setting is quick complicated, but just have to do it once, follow the menu
2. cartridge is about $10 more than the compareable HP or Brother ones, considering it doesn't need to replace drum unit, overall cost is about the same
3. no network built in, u got what u pay for.
