Rating: - Very good
This is perfect for what I needed. Scanning and printing are both acceptably fast compared with the old separate printer and scanner I replaced this with. Output looks very good for an all-in-one in this price range.

IDEAL FOR YOUR HOME/OFFICE PROJECTS. VERY FAST PRINTING, IF YOU ARE USING MS VISTA YOU MAY GO TO [...] FOR DRIVERS SINCE THE DRIVERS PROVIDED WITH THE PRINTER FOR THE PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF WINDOWS.
SCANNING IS QUICK AND CLEAN. REAL FAST COPYING TOO.
THE PRINTER IS PROVIDED WITH A STARTER CARTRDIGE WHICH COULD BE USED UP, UPTO 1000 PAGES. IF YOU USE YOUR PRINTER OFTEN YOU MAY RUN OUT OF CARTRIDGE QUITE SOON. PURCHASE A 2000 PAGE CARTRIDGE MODEL # 104.
THE GREATEST ADVANTAGE IS ,IT PRINTS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE PAPER. SAVES PAPER AND TIME.
EASY SET UP, DOES TAKE ABOUT 25 TO 30 MINUTES.
PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY A MONOCHROME PRINTER.ALSO IT HAS A FAX FEATURE. IF YOU DO HAVE A LAND PHONE LINE YOU ARE OK.
I USE VOIP, SO I DO NOT USE THIS FEATURE, HOWEVER, ONE COULD RECEIVE FAXES VIA EMAIL BUT CANNOT SEND? YOU MAY WANT TO RESEARCH THIS.
Rating: - A great buy
I bought this for my one-person office, so there's no need for network connectivity. Installation was simple and straightforward on Windoze XP. I have used all the primary functions - copy, scan, fax, print - and I am extremely pleased with the results.
This is a fantastic deal. I have no idea how Canon makes any money on it...
Rating: - Compact, Easy to Install, Great Value
Small biz office environment here, so the Canon is a fantastic upgrade from a Brother MFC. Very easy to install, intuitive user interface and great quality prints, copies and scanning. No complaints here!
