Rating: - So glad to be back to diNovo
I recently gave up my old diNovo Media Desktop in favor of the G15. I switched for the backlit keys since I prefer to work with the lights off, man am I glad to be back. I just got my new diNovo Edge and love it. Typing on the Logitech slimline keyboards (diNovo) it just heavenly. the keys have the perfect amount of play and I have no issues at all in my wrists like I do with almost any other keyboard, including the "ergonomic" ones. I rarely use the extra features of this keyboard so I can't really speak to them but the range is great and it is easily the most stylish keyboard I have ever seen. I recommend this keyboard without reservation.
Rating: - Good but lacking some things
Overall I do like this keyboard. The buttons are solid and it has a functional layout. As others have already said, it is lacking a numerical pad. Doesn't bother me much. I bought this keyboard for my PS3 and for use in my living room. So far, it has been working great. It hooked up right away without even loading the software.
Rating: - great for HTPC use
I love it! It works great. When I first connected it, it would only work intermittently and I thought something was wrong with it. The bluetooth dongle was plugged into a USB port on the back of my computer and was only about 3-4 inches from my wireless NIC's antenna. On a hunch, I moved the bluetooth dongle to a front USB port, and the connection problems were fixed. Bluetooth and wireless networks both work on 2.4 GHz, so be aware of that if you have wireless network on your computer. I'm going to get a USB extension cord so I can separate it from my wireless antenna without having to plug it into the front.
It only took about 2 hours to charge up the battery, and I've been using it for about a week now. The battery condition still shows as "good" in the Logitech SetPoint utility. The manual says that the battery will last up to 2 months on a charge. We will see if that holds up.
Rating: - amazed
i'm amazed that the lack of the numeric pad is mentioned as a negitive!. wow my keyboard has number keys right across the top of the main keyboard, but of course maybe thiers don't, lol
