Rating: - less than hoped for
Attic mount one half story up must be too much in line it doesn't help much. I THink it would be better more out of antenna plane.

Easy to hook up. Placed in attic totally hidden so no grief from the homeowner's association. Moved antenna around until I had best signal.
Only Verizon in the past would work in house. SPRINT, etc needed to hang out the upper floor window.
Have SPRINT card in Sony VAIO computer to reach internet if not on DSL at home. At home minimal to no signal. Minimal signal boosted by wireless extender. MORE IMPORTANTLY, (KINDLE USES SPRINT NETWORK) 4 MARKS FOR SIGNAL STRENGTH (minimal before) WHEN USING AMAZON'S WIRELESS BOOK, KINDLE AND REPRODUCABLE EVERY TIME!!!!!!

Rating: - Didn't work for me
Read carefully. I did not get good reception outside ever. However a neighbor tried it and it seemed to work. So I thought I would give it a try. I spent lots of time trying to get it going by moving it around and hours with the Verizon tech supports. Ultimately, I sent it back. Also, it seems to be weather sensitive.
It may work very well for others in a less remote location.

The product works, but it has limitations. Antenna placement is an important key, and so is the location of the base station. You really need to experiment with the placement of both to get your best results. This is spelled out in the instructions and I found no misstatements.
We were able to obtain four bars of phone reception in the attic, and after installation, four bars were available near the base station. There is a substantial fall-off as you move your phone away from the base. Our house is slightly over 4000 square feet. In the most distant rooms, there was no apparent effect. But for most of the house, at least one addition reception bar was realized. It isn't perfect, but it has value.
