The Brother MFC-845cw is perhaps the best multifunction machine I have ever purchased. I have printed many pages with the brother and it seems to have used little ink, the ink monitor lets the user know how much ink is available. The paper tray is one of the cool features of this machine. The paper tray will hold standard paper and has a built-in holder for the smaller photo paper, you can print from standard to photo without changing a thing. I have used every feature the Brother MFC-845cw has to offer and have been very impressed with all features. Anyone in the market for a new multi-function machine should consider the Brother.
Rating: - Paper Jam--Ruined the whole system--threw it away
This all-in-one device worked fine for about 90 days but then it jammed on a single piece of paper--and the whole system broke down. For some reason, the paper jam made the printing gears jam and they never worked again for printing, faxing, or anything--I had to throw it away after 91 days. May I suggest an Epson.

We bought this for home use and it worked perfectly - right away - with my husband's laptop. My Dell notebook, however, refused to cooperate at first, and I must tell you that of all the tech support I have EVER encountered, Brother's is the best, hands down. Polite, English speaking people solved my software compatibility problems in short order. After years of HP anguish I have learned that there is nothing more important in an electronic device than a knowledgeable tech support service. The printer, fax and scanner work flawlessly on our wireless network and the price is right for a home based machine. Lucky me. Thank you Brother!

i just bought this mfc 2 days ago i love it ,it has everything you need works perfectly faxing copying priting pics is awsome love the network capablity and not to mention the wireless phone set w/answer machine.
i bought this to replace an old hp printer and a dust collecting canon scanner i looked @ hp product but i couldn't find any thing w/the same functions at least not for about the same price the closest thing from hp was about $150 more i bought mine @ office depot about the same price @amazon but office depot offer a mail in rebate (hopefully i'll get it)
the only part about this that kindda bugged me was set up w/wireless network & 3 pc'sit just took a while really the main issue was my router not the mfc.
if you are looking for a all in one printer you can not go wrong with this one not to mention ink is cheaper than hp's.i give brother 5 shiny stars.
