This item is just perfect for my Toshiba A135, it stylish perfecly combine with my Dark Blue Laptop. The 160gb 5400rpm hard drive is above the average right now. You can fill it with all your documents, music and movies at the same time. Fit's perfectly in your pocket. The USB cable is just fine if you are using it with a laptop. Works full in Vista.

Very good product to buy. Can easily fit into my pocket. Looks so stylish for a harddisk, would rather qualify for a classy cigarrete case. ;). No hassles of carrying long wires and power adapters. instantly connects and fast transfers - 80 gigs took around an hour to transfer.
Rating: - Avoid this drive if you value your data
I purchased this drive in Feb. of 2007. Almost six months to the day after I purchased it the drive stopped working. There was no indication that it was going to stop working. One day I used the drive in the morning, in the afternoon I went to use it again and nothing happened. I tried the drive on two laptops and two desktops using Windows XP and Windows 2000 without success. When I put my ear to the drive it was silent and there was no vibrations. I really needed the data on my drive so I sent it away to a data recovery service. It is going to cost me more than $1500 to recover my data. I could have bought 10 of these drives for the same amount of money. But, I wouldn't spend a dime on another one of these drives. A drive should be able to last more than six months.
Rating: - Passport on its Way to Becoming the Name Brand in Portable Hard Drives
Sleek, stylish and robust, the Western Digital Passport External Hard Drive was the perfect answer to my portable storage needs. I considered the 80GB, the 120 GB, the 160GB and the 250GB drives for a little while, and the price difference made the 160GB drive the best choice for me. Instead of worrying about transporting DVD or CDs, or having to rely on several USB flash drives to carry my music, TV shows and movies, the Passport provides a central location to house all my media while keeping my laptop drive free to maintain work files and apps, as well as serve as the download station before I back it up on my Passport. The software is user friendly, and the sync function is handy, but it's just as easy to transfer files via Windows Explorer. The price for theWestern Digital 160 GB USB 2.0 Passport 2.5" External Hard Drive ( WDXMS1600TN ) didn't break my bank and the convenience is priceless.
