    I purchased this for a friend whose charger went south, he didn't explain how it died. At first, he was skeptical as the local company he bought his laptop from was charging him around US$150 for a replacement power supply. I told him that I could get one cheaper on Amazon.com for him and he was really hesitant but when I showed him prices online, he believed. Now he intends showing off to the local company of how a rip off they are. It works pretty fine. To those who are in two minds, one word of caution, make sure it fits your model.

    This will be brief. Needed a new cord for Acer Aspire laptop since the vacuum ate the original one. Damn vacuum.

    This worked perfectly as it should. Shipped fast and was relatively cheap.

    I guess you get what you pay for. This item comes with a variety of adapters, none of which properly fit my Aspires (I have two of them). Every time I moved the cord would pull slightly putting the laptop to battery and then back to AC. After a while something broke and the tip of the adapter actually melted inside a laptop and it took a lot of effort to get it back out. While it looks like others have had success with this product, I found it to be complete garbage.

    Had to get a new adapter as I broke off the pin by accident. I didn't want to pay for a new one at $70.00. This was 1/2 the price and does the same thing. No problems. Happy with product.
