Apple iWork '08 has a clean interface, is horribly easy to use and contains all the tools I need to run a small business. I am extremely happy with this product.
Don't let the beautiful templates fool you. I had Office 2004 on my Mac, but since acquiring iWork have deleted it.
Rating: - Good for the home user
This package is a very good value, but has a couple of shortcomings. For one thing, Pages, the word processor, doesn't have a word count function. That may seem trivial, but any obscure function that you need isn't trivial. That said, I'm glad that I didn't spend a bunch of money on MS Office for Mac.
Rating: - page layout made easy
After having used PageMaker, a high-end page layout program, for more than 15 years, I had some doubts as to whether I could get used to software that was new and challenging. The answer is yes, and though I am still learning the fundamentals of the Pages portion of the iWork software, I like what I see. And that's largely because of the directions and aids that make the entire process fairly easy for first-time users, as well as those who have been around the block a few times.
I plan to use the Pages program of the iWork collection primarily to produce newsletters and brochures, and have confidence that I will be pleased with the results.

I purchased this software as a Christmas gift and the person that I gave it to is very satisfied with the software. This software is mac software for the mac computer.
